2016 Lansdowne Arts on the Avenue Festival
Noon – 6 pm
Lansdowne’s favorite event just got bigger and better!
The Lansdowne Economic Development Corporation (LEDC) is proud to present the Lansdowne Arts on the Avenue Festival on Sunday, September 11, 2016 from noon – 6 pm on Lansdowne Avenue. This event grew out of the Lansdowne Arts Festival, a perennial favorite arts and music event in Lansdowne. This new and exciting outdoor arts festival is expected to draw more than 2,500 people to our historic downtown for an all-day festival of fine arts, crafts, music, food trucks, and more.
This year, 40+ artists from all over the area are slated to sell their original creations along Lansdowne Avenue. Items for sale are expected to include art in many different categories — ceramics, photography, wood and sculpture, painting and drawing, jewelry and mixed media. Look forward to one-of-a-kind creations, demonstrations by the artists, and more.
Avenue Restaurants and Shops
Many of the restaurants and shops along Lansdowne Avenue are slated to open their doors to festival visitors throughout the day and into the evening. Look forward to spots for alfresco dining along the avenue as well as food and drink specials, too.
Popular spots include The Avenue Deli, Regency Café, and the Icery. Other nearby restaurants will be setting up outdoor booths and several food trucks are planned as well.
One of the many new features this year will be the Kids’ Zone in the parking lot at 30 N. Lansdowne Avenue. This area will host numerous free activities and tailor-made to keep your little ones happy.
